In the early years, our drinking wine for daily consumption regularly came from Ayler Scheidterberg. Unfortunately, this vineyard name has disappeared. We, however, want to stay true to tradition, and that’s why we call our lightest off-dry Riesling (between 9.5 and 10.5% alcohol) “Alt Scheidt” today. Mineral-fresh and with an exciting aroma of wild yeasts, it is the archetype of animating Saar Riesling.
